Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Drummond (ranked 2692 p4p, 22501 weight class) and Walter Heisenberg (ranked 412 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Heisenberg takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Drummond scores with the left hand. Heisenberg knows he should have avoided that one.
Drummond fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Drummond stuns Heisenberg with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

A jab from Drummond finds it's way through Heisenberg's defenses.
Drummond uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Heisenberg has time to react.

Heisenberg chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Drummond can pounce on him.

We've been hearing reports that Drummond has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Drummond feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Drummond drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drummond jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Drummond stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heisenberg swivels though and keeps the full guard.
