Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ko Van Den Born (ranked 77 p4p, 257 weight class) and Boris Krylov (ranked 11 p4p, 41 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ko Van Den Born has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ko Van Den Born seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Krylov!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Den Born misses with an uppercut
and Krylov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Ko Van Den Born has been cut.
Van Den Born cracks Krylov with a good jab.
It looks like Boris Krylov has been cut.
Krylov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Krylov moves out of range as Van Den Born strikes.
Krylov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Van Den Born has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Van Den Born throws a head kick but Krylov moves out of range.
Krylov appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A slow jab from Van Den Born misses its intended target.
A nice side step and Krylov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooh!!! Van Den Born has knocked Krylov down with a huge combo! Van Den Born steps away and waves a wobbly Krylov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Van Den Born rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krylov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Krylov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Krylov throws a jab when Van Den Born was well out of range.
Krylov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van Den Born swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Krylov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Van Den Born lands a left and a right that send Krylov crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Den Born thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That has opened up Boris Krylov's cut even more.

and Krylov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Van Den Born digs a good hook to Krylov's body.
Van Den Born throws a lazy right hand but Krylov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Krylov tries a quick counter leg kick but Van Den Born is wise to it.
Krylov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Van Den Born lands a lovely overhand right.
Van Den Born throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Krylov throws a low kick but Van Den Born avoids it.
A counter left hand to the body from Van Den Born misses its target.

Krylov looks for the body kick but Van Den Born saw that one coming.
Van Den Born appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Van Den Born lands a big uppercut and Krylov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Krylov looks OK. Van Den Born waves Krylov back to his feet!

Van Den Born is stalking Krylov. Krylov circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Van Den Born, and it's lights out! Krylov really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
