Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam Walker (ranked 1952 p4p, 1928 weight class) and Fang Zhaohui (ranked 271 p4p, 268 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fang Zhaohui!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker misses with a left hand
and Zhaohui makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Walker gets the takedown into side control.
Zhaohui is looking to regain half guard here but Walker keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Zhaohui's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Walker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Zhaohui down.
Walker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zhaohui gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Zhaohui is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Zhaohui is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Walker has a hand on Zhaohui's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Zhaohui takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Zhaohui is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Walker has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Zhaohui wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Walker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Walker is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Scrap Squad, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Walker defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Zhaohui's arms.

Zhaohui doesn't have the hooks in and Walker manages to turn into his guard.
Walker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Zhaohui looking for a guillotine here but Walker defends easily.

Zhaohui is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Walker is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Walker is posturing up here but Zhaohui has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Walker tries to roll out but it's too tight and Walker has to tap! Slick submission there by Zhaohui!
