Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tetsuo Shima!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shima has taken the fight to the clinch.
Baudelaire tries a knee to the head but Shima blocks it.
Shima lands with a short shot to the head.
Baudelaire trying to control the position but instead, Shima has worked for underhooks and has pushed Baudelaire into the cage.
Shima has a couple of punches blocked by Baudelaire.
Baudelaire misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Our sources have told us that Baudelaire has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Shima lands a left hand that snaps the head of Baudelaire backwards.
Baudelaire goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Shima throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Shima.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shima lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Baudelaire has a couple of punches blocked by Shima.

Shima is leaning against Baudelaire and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Shima lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Baudelaire backwards.

Baudelaire using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Shima has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Shima lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Shima as Baudelaire tries to tie him up.

Shima's coach down at Gunner's School of Combat was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shima's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Baudelaire is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shima is keeping busy.
Shima throws a punch but it's blocked by Baudelaire.
Baudelaire tries to break the clinch but Shima is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shima creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Baudelaire with a big uppercut! Baudelaire tries to clinch up but Shima pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Baudelaire to the mat! Baudelaire covers up and Shima unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
