Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Ford (ranked 126 p4p, 272 weight class) and Gorgon Patriot (ranked 12 p4p, 38 weight class). Gorgon Patriot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gorgon Patriot!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patriot fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ford has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Patriot wants to slow Ford down by chopping away at his legs.
Ford is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Ford lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

It looks like Gorgon Patriot has been cut.
Ford connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ford takes a swing at Patriot's ribcage but misses.
Patriot throws a wild body kick that Ford sees coming a mile off.

Ford chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Patriot can pounce on him.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Patriot, as that shot connected.
Patriot's corner calls for a 1-2. Patriot obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ford looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Patriot feints and then cracks Ford's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ford down.

Oh Ford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
