Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chace Chacing (ranked 1335 p4p, 1267 weight class) and Wesley Taurus (ranked 193 p4p, 180 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Taurus's choice of entrance music: Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chacing takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Taurus throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chacing wants to clinch but Taurus slips to the side
and Taurus counters with a nice body shot.
Chacing misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taurus tries a head kick but it misses.
Taurus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Taurus looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Taurus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Taurus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chacing was well out of range. Poor timing from Taurus.
Chacing tries to counter with a takedown but Taurus is quick to defend against it.
Taurus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chacing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Taurus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chacing has him pressed against the cage.
Chacing fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Taurus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chacing steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Taurus.

Chacing rushes Taurus and presses him up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taurus avoiding damage as Chacing throws knees to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Chacing.
Chacing throws a punch but it's blocked by Taurus.
Taurus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A head punch on the inside from Chacing fails to land.
Chacing throws a head punch that misses.

Chacing drags the fight down to the ground.
Taurus wants to stand but Chacing has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Taurus is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chacing is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Taurus wants to stand but Chacing is controlling his posture from full guard.

Chacing working for a triangle but Taurus defends it easily.
Taurus would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Taurus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chacing has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Taurus has managed to get both his arms back between Chacing's legs - danger averted.
Taurus has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chacing is proving hard to escape from.

Chacing looking for a triangle here. Taurus is fighting it but it looks tight! Chacing pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Taurus is tapping out - this one is all over!
