Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alla Pugacheva (ranked 2379 p4p, 1689 weight class) and Cornelius Myers (ranked 298 p4p, 230 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alla Pugacheva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cornelius Myers!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugacheva works Myers's body with a nice hook.
We've been told by Pugacheva's head coaches at Doom's Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Myers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Myers lands a two punch combo.
Alla Pugacheva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pugacheva looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pugacheva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Myers.
Sloppy strikes from Myers. Those never looked like landing.
Myers on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Myers counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Pugacheva uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Myers checks a leg kick.
Myers drops Pugacheva with a beautiful combination! Pugacheva stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Myers is looking for the KO!
Myers has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Pugacheva finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Myers checks a low kick from Pugacheva.
Myers gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pugacheva counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Myers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pugacheva was well out of range. Poor timing from Myers.
Pugacheva throws a sloppy head kick
and Myers counters with a body kick that stops Pugacheva in his tracks momentarily.
Some wild striking there from Pugacheva.
Myers cracks Pugacheva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Myers has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pugacheva to stand back up!
Pugacheva is rocked!
Myers finds Pugacheva's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Pugacheva flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Myers lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Pugacheva will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cornelius Myers!
