Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pauke Murhapuro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Kerr. Murhapuro misses with a looping right. Kerr slips under a jab. Murhapuro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kerr throws a lazy right hand but Murhapuro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Murhapuro misses with a hook. Kerr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Murhapuro misses with a left hand and Kerr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kerr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Murhapuro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kerr is defended easily by Murhapuro. Murhapuro is looking to counter punch.

Murhapuro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Murhapuro misses with a right hand and Kerr counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kerr thuds a left hand into Murhapuro's body. A swing and a miss from Murhapuro. Kerr is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Murhapuro with a body shot. Kerr lands with a right hand. Kerr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Murhapuro. Kerr now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Murhapuro slips under a jab. Kerr throws a head kick but Murhapuro moves out of range.

Kerr blocks a low kick nicely. Murhapuro is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Murhapuro throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kerr looks to throw the jab but Murhapuro is out of range. Kerr bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Murhapuro's head backwards. Kerr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Murhapuro.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murhapuro lands with a good body shot. Mark Kerr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murhapuro thows a left - swing and a miss! Kerr throws a counter combo. Murhapuro pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Murhapuro's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kerr under the eye. Kerr avoids a low kick by using good footwork. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murhapuro avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Murhapuro swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A slow jab from Kerr misses its intended target. Some bone on bone action there as Kerr checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kerr misses with a left hand and Murhapuro counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nice body punch from Kerr. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kerr dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Kerr defending well as Murhapuro loads up on a big left hand. Murhapuro scores with a hook. Murhapuro lands a front kick. Murhapuro slips a jab and a cross from Kerr.

Kerr is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Murhapuro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Murhapuro has hold of Kerr's hands but Kerr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Murhapuro actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Murhapuro trying to hold on to Kerr's head to control him but Kerr postures up.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mark Kerr! After the fight, Mark Kerr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
