Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Makres (ranked 4310 p4p, 1351 weight class) and Silent Bob (ranked 547 p4p, 204 weight class). Makres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is SABATON - Coat of Arms. The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makres shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bob as he avoids it easily.

and Makres connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bob wants to clinch up but Makres keeps it at a distance.

We've been informed that Bob has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Bob feints and then cracks Makres's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Makres down.

Bob throws a front kick aimed at Makres's knee but Makres avoids it well.
As Bob backs away, Makres returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
