Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Slugger Dunes (ranked 1502 p4p, 1806 weight class) and Michael Cruz (ranked 230 p4p, 271 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dunes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The World's Greatest. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cruz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Michael Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunes staying out of range there.
It looked like Dunes wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Decent striking displayed by Dunes there.
Dunes lands with a kick to the temple. Cruz shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Dunes counters with a straight that turns Cruz's legs to rubber! Dunes pushes forward with more strikes and Cruz goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
