Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Connor (ranked 64 p4p, 1290 weight class) and Destin Craven (ranked 10 p4p, 134 weight class). Connor comes to the cage accompanied by Cherub Rock. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Destin Craven!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craven tries to score a power double leg takedown but Connor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Craven somewhat.
Connor swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Craven misses with a hook. Connor ducked under it nicely.
Decent striking displayed by Connor there.
Craven gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Connor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Connor throws a body shot but no joy.
Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Craven. Connor shrugs it off though.
Craven shoots in looking for a takedown but Connor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Craven's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Connor swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Greg Connor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Destin Craven.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Connor takes one on the button.
Craven misses with a hook
and Connor counters with a right hand to the body.
Connor throws a body shot but no joy.
Connor needs to keep his hands up - Craven had a free shot at his head there.

Connor looks to land a right hand but Craven moved out of range.
Craven moves out of range of the body kick.
Craven misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Connor.
Craven cracks Connor with a good jab.
Donk. Connor catches Craven right on the button with a cross.
Craven loads up on a big right hand but Connor slips the punch.
Craven with the inside leg kick.
Connor avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Connor wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Greg Connor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Craven misses with a wild body shot.
Craven connects with a right hand. Connor shakes it off.
Craven swinging wildly here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Craven throws an off balance right hand
and Connor counters with a nice right hand that sends Craven toppling to the canvas! Craven scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Connor finish him?!
Craven is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Craven jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Craven is still on wobbly legs! Can Connor finish him?
Craven has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Connor finds Craven's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Craven flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Connor lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Craven will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greg Connor!
A less than humble Greg Connor misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
