The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phyrrus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Evans throws out the jab.
Phyrrus appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Phyrrus thuds a left hand into Evans's body.
Phyrrus throws a poor cross that misses
and Evans counters with a nice uppercut.
Phyrrus lands a left and a right that send Evans crashing to the mat, dazed. Phyrrus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Gwynn Evans has been cut.

Evans ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Phyrrus misses with a hook. Evans ducked under it nicely.

Psion Phyrrus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
