The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pearson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barkley.
Good standup being displayed there by Barkley as he connects with a hook.
Barkley bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pearson slips a jab and a cross from Barkley.

Barkley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pearson circles away quickly and effectively.

A solid leg kick lands there for Barkley.

Pearson sends Barkley crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pearson is motioning to the referee to let Barkley up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pearson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Barkley's defenses. It connects perfectly with Barkley's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
