Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Segura (ranked 980 p4p, 1430 weight class) and Dennis Dalborg (ranked 149 p4p, 205 weight class). Segura's entrance music is Mystic Rick - Press Conference. A fine choice. Dalborg has chosen Slipnot - Solway Firth as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Segura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Dalborg!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segura throws a right hand that misses
and Dalborg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Rick Segura has been cut.
Dalborg throws a jab when Segura was well out of range.
Segura swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dalborg cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Segura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dalborg sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Dalborg on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Dalborg looks to score with a jab to the body but Segura is just out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Segura or perhaps it was just good defense by Dalborg, which made it look bad.

Segura shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dalborg as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Segura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dalborg avoids it really well and circles away.

Segura shoots in and drives through. Dalborg sprawls well.
Segura looks to score with a jab to the body but Dalborg is just out of range.
Segura lands with a nice body punch.
Segura connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dalborg dips to his left and cracks Segura with an uppercut!
Segura shoots in for a takedown but Dalborg shows good takedown defense.
Segura works Dalborg's body with a nice hook.
Segura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dalborg defends well and Segura ends up having to push Dalborg into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Dalborg makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Segura can't find room to land a body shot as Dalborg controls the action.

Segura's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Segura shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dalborg pinned against the cage. Dalborg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dalborg is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Segura throws out a loose jab but Dalborg uses good head movement to avoid it.
Segura shoots for a takedown but Dalborg saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Segura swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dalborg.
Dalborg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Segura manages to avoid it.
Dalborg bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Segura jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dennis Dalborg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dalborg cracks Segura with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Segura is rocked!

Dalborg flashes Segura a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Segura's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Segura crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Dalborg punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

After the fight, Dennis Dalborg was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
