Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaia Ky Jr (ranked 898 p4p, 872 weight class) and Miguel Harper (ranked 57 p4p, 55 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Harper's choice of entrance music: Al Compás De Mi Caballo. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miguel Harper!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ky Jr tries a head kick but it misses.
Ky Jr avoids a kick to the body.
Harper throws a big shot that misses.
Ky Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harper throws out the jab.
Ky Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harper misses with an uppercut.
Ky Jr slips under a jab.
Harper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Harper sizes up Ky Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ky Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ky Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Harper finds it's way round the side to connect with Ky Jr's head.

Ky Jr is rocked!
Harper ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ky Jr moves away.
Oh Ky Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harper looks to land a right hand but Ky Jr moved out of range.
Ky Jr displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harper throws out the jab.
Ky Jr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Harper cracks Ky Jr with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ky Jr tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Harper pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ky Jr is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miguel Harper!

After winning the bout, Miguel Harper thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
