Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Hall (ranked 1658 p4p, 1457 weight class) and Benji Torres (ranked 232 p4p, 209 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Pinball Wizard. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ralph Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Benji Torres! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall dives in and scores a takedown into Torres's guard. Hall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hall is fighting to break Torres's control of his arms but Torres is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Hall content to stall in guard here. Hall wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Hall looking to pass the guard. Hall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall pushes down on Torres's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hall wants to take a breather but Torres is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Torres defends it well. Hall stalling. Torres tries to get to full guard but Hall has control of the leg. Hall is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hall works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Torres has managed to free his arm - good work. Torres is trying to control but can't.

Hall seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Torres does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hall is looking for a kimura. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Torres is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ralph Hall dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Torres misses the jab. The crowd cheers as Torres lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hall doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Ralph Hall has been cut. Hall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Torres looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Torres! But no joy. Torres misses with a hook. Torres scores with a hook. Ralph Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres lands a big uppercut and Hall crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hall looks OK. Torres waves Hall back to his feet!
Hall is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hall drops his hands momentarily. Torres doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Hall staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Hall doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Benji Torres!
