Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Ragnarsson (ranked 1487 p4p, 841 weight class) and Aatreya Mahrishi (ranked 225 p4p, 125 weight class). Mahrishi has chosen On the Precipe of Defeat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ragnarsson throws out a loose jab but Mahrishi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mahrishi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Aatreya Mahrishi has been cut.
Mahrishi misses with a hook
and Mahrishi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mahrishi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mahrishi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ragnarsson misses with a double jab.
Mahrishi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mahrishi walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ragnarsson tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Mahrishi to counter with a crisp jab.
Ragnarsson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ragnarsson moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromMahrishi.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Mahrishi counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Ragnarsson badly! He tries to strike back but Mahrishi puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Ragnarsson out cold! Oh man, Ragnarsson will never hear the end of this one!
