Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Syd Rummel (ranked 1592 p4p, 2531 weight class) and Harry Kane (ranked 51 p4p, 30 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Syd Rummel! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Kane! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rummel manages to avoid it. Rummel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kane manages to avoid it. Rummel fails with the takedown and Kane counters with a three punch combo that has Rummel backing up. Rummel nods at Kane to acknowledge the strikes. Harry Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rummel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kane can pounce on him.
Rummel shoots for a takedown but Kane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rummel avoids the body shot from Kane.
Kane looking to score a takedown here. Rummel is defending well but Kane drives through and ends up in Rummel's guard. Kane controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kane trying to control the position from guard on top but Rummel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kane stays in close to Rummel's body and controls the position. Rummel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rummel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rummel throwing strikes from guard but Kane blocks nicely. Rummel distracts Kane with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rummel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rummel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kane is keeping the position for now. Rummel throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rummel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kane is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rummel is aware though and is defending well. Rummel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rummel has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted. Kane working for a triangle but Rummel defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rummel chips away with some ground and pound. Rummel throwing strikes but missing. Kane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rummel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rummel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rummel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kane's head. Rummel lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Rummel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rummel stopping the sweep attempt from Kane. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kane holds on and takes a little breather. Rummel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Kane is rocked!
It looks like Harry Kane has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rummel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rummel trying to control the position from guard on top but Kane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rummel lands a couple of digs. Kane is still in real trouble! Can Rummel finish him? Rummel chips away with some ground and pound. Rummel postures up.
Rummel gets to his feet and stands over Kane, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kane felt that one! Rummel unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kane from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Syd Rummel! Syd Rummel retains his super heavyweight title! Syd Rummel really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hardcore Alchemy logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
