Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Lobchov (ranked 2074 p4p, 2038 weight class) and Mustang Jack (ranked 265 p4p, 261 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasili Lobchov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Lobchov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jack sees it coming and defends easily.

Jack must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lobchov wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Let's hope that Jack has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
