PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Koua Kamara (ranked 1132 p4p, 1493 weight class) and Fred Ottoman (ranked 142 p4p, 191 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ottoman's choice of entrance music: Terminator Theme. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamara smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ottoman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kamara.
Ottoman throws an overhand right that lands on Kamara's shoulder, as Kamara tries to avoid the shot.
Ottoman missing with a left hand there. Kamara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Kamara counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ottoman enables Kamara to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ottoman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kamara has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Fred Ottoman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kamara's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ottoman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kamara scrambles back to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Kamara 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Koua Kamara's cut is getting worse.
Ottoman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kamara's head.

Kamara catches Ottoman napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Ottoman to the canvas!
Ottoman is still in real trouble! Can Kamara finish him?
Kamara postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ottoman covers up, he's hurt! Kamara keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kamara and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kamara can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
