Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alfred Larsen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Larsen's head backwards.
Larsen walks into a left hand.
It looks like Alfred Larsen has been cut.
Larsen slips a jab from Sullivan.
Larsen throws out a counter right but Sullivan avoids it with no problem.
Larsen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sullivan at a distance.
Sullivan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Larsen misses with a kick to the body.
Sullivan misses with a lunging right hand
and Larsen counters with a right hand to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Larsen.
Sullivan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Larsen momentarily.
Sullivan needs to keep his hands up - Larsen had a free shot at his head there.
Sullivan catches Larsen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Larsen lands with a nice body kick.
Larsen throws a combination that misses
and Sullivan counters with a crisp right that sends Larsen to the canvas! Sullivan follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Sullivan!
