Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Winn (ranked 739 p4p, 186 weight class) and Bobby Brawler (ranked 114 p4p, 32 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jerome Winn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby Brawler! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winn looks to land a left hand but Brawler moved out of range nicely. Brawler only half commits to the counter leg kick. Brawler throws a nice outside leg kick. Winn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brawler was well out of range. Poor timing from Winn. Brawler fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jerome Winn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Winn throws a series of punches but Brawler avoids them all with ease. Winn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Winn misses with a few strikes there.
Winn misses the shot to the body. Brawler tries a quick counter leg kick but Winn is wise to it. Brawler uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Winn. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brawler scores with a kick to the midsection. Brawler throws a jab but it's blocked by Winn. Brawler throws a chopping leg kick but Winn manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Winn throws a series of punches but Brawler moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brawler misses with a right hand and Winn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Winn slips a jab and a cross from Brawler.

Winn misses with a takedown attempt - Brawler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Winn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Brawler throws a hook but Winn avoids it easily. Brawler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Winn.
Brawler is looking to score with low kicks. Winn looks to throw the jab but Brawler is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winn lunges at Brawler with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Brawler's hand. Winn misses with a two punch combination.
Brawler misses with a leg kick and Winn counters with a left to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brawler moves out of range as Winn strikes. Winn shoots for a takedown but Brawler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A nice side step and Brawler releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome Winn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winn moves out of range as Brawler strikes. Brawler stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Brawler gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winn throws an elbow that misses. Brawler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Winn's guard. Nice move by Brawler! Winn tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Winn is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brawler is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Winn is really struggling to control Brawler but he's trying to hold on to the position. Brawler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Winn's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Winn is looking for a sweep. Brawler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Winn is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winn is looking to escape. Brawler trying to control the pace. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Winn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brawler is working away from the top position though.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Winn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brawler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bobby Brawler will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Winn ducks right into an uppercut from Brawler. Brawler misses with a straight left. Bobby Brawler seems to be getting the better of the standup. Brawler misses with a low kick as Winn jumps back. Winn moves into range and connects with a jab. Brawler jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

A little feinted left hand from Winn on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Winn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Winn misses with a takedown attempt and Brawler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jerome Winn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Winn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brawler. Winn has his takedown stuffed and Winn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Winn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Bobby Brawler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Brawler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Winn. Brawler throws out a leg kick but Winn moves out of range and Brawler only half commits. Winn is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Winn tries to close the distance and clinch but Brawler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brawler lands with a good body shot. and Brawler counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brawler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Brawler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brawler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
