Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devlin von Hausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Reed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devlin von Hausen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Reed! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! von Hausen tries to clinch but Reed is having none of it. Billy Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. von Hausen tries to clinch but Reed moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! von Hausen tries to clinch there but Reed circles away.
Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around von Hausen's waist but von Hausen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side. Reed scores a takedown into full mount! Reed has control of von Hausen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and von Hausen regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Reed prevents von Hausen from getting the reversal. Reed jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but von Hausen manages to avoid the submission attempt. Reed wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by von Hausen, who protects the arm well. von Hausen is trying to control Reed's posture but Reed avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. von Hausen holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. von Hausen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reed wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Reed wants to lay and pray for a moment but von Hausen keeps working. von Hausen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if von Hausen tries to get out of the position. Reed tries for a kimura but von Hausen is defending well. von Hausen struggling a bit here. von Hausen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Reed slips a straight right by von Hausen. Reed keeps the fight on the outside. Reed closes this distance looking for a takedown but von Hausen circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. von Hausen is looking to clinch but Reed is avoiding it.
von Hausen moves in looking to clinch but Reed pushes him off. Reed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has von Hausen pinned against the cage. von Hausen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Devlin von Hausen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Reed. von Hausen scores a takedown into full mount! von Hausen controlling the pace for now. Reed is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. von Hausen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reed working to try and regain half guard.
von Hausen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reed on the ground. Reed wants to hold on but von Hausen pushes him away. von Hausen controlling from the full mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Reed is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devlin von Hausen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
von Hausen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reed.
von Hausen misses with a hook. Reed scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. von Hausen moves in looking to clinch but Reed pushes him off. Reed gets a takedown into half guard. von Hausen is refusing to be controlled, as Reed sits in half guard. Reed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so von Hausen is just riding it out for now. Reed eventually gives up the hold. von Hausen is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed is looking to advance position but von Hausen won't allow it. Reed is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
von Hausen keeps control of the position for the meantime. von Hausen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for von Hausen. von Hausen is controlling Reed's posture.

The fighters roll with the hold and von Hausen manages to kick Reed off! Reed jumps back into von Hausen's guard. von Hausen is adopting a defensive guard. Reed looking to pass the guard. von Hausen keeping moving, preventing Reed from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed won't allow von Hausen to sweep him here. Reed thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. von Hausen pulls Reed in to control the position. Reed tries to free his leg and advance position but von Hausen is retaining full guard. von Hausen looking for a sweep. Not yet von Hausen, not yet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Reed drives through with a takedown into guard. Reed is breathing heavily. Reed has gone for a leg lock! von Hausen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reed's guard. von Hausen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. von Hausen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. von Hausen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. von Hausen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. von Hausen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. von Hausen postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Reed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Reed swats away the attempt to clinch by von Hausen. von Hausen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Reed sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. von Hausen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Reed looking for submissions off his back. von Hausen content to control rather than advance. Reed is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. von Hausen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Reed looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Reed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Reed makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Reed. Reed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. von Hausen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. von Hausen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. von Hausen postures up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. von Hausen controlling from the top position. von Hausen looking to pass the guard. Reed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. von Hausen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. von Hausen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. von Hausen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. von Hausen is pushing down on Reed's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reed is fighting to maintain full guard but von Hausen has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed tries to roll over but von Hausen keeps him under control. von Hausen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. von Hausen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Devlin von Hausen just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Reed gets a takedown into half guard. von Hausen trying to hold on to Reed's head to control him but Reed postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. von Hausen is positioning himself well to prevent Reed advancing to mount. von Hausen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. von Hausen won't allow Reed to pass to mount. Reed in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. von Hausen tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Reed!
