The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bone scores with the left hand. Spanner knows he should have avoided that one.
Spanner thows a leg kick but Bone checks it
and Bone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Bleeding Spanner has been cut.

Bone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Spanner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bone misses the shot to the body.

Bone moves into range and clinches up with Spanner.
Spanner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Spanner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Spanner tries to break the clinch but Bone is controlling the position.

Bone lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Spanner backwards.

Bone has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Spanner misses with a leg kick
and Bone counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bone is looking to chop away at Spanner's legs.
Spanner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bone looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Bone smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bleeding Spanner's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

That kick from Bone tenderised Spanner's leg. Spanner is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Spanner counters with a left and a right that stings Bone.

An attempted straight right counter from Spanner misses the target.

Spanner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Spanner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Bone to counter with a crisp jab.

Spanner takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bone misses with a body shot.
Bone looks to throw the jab but Spanner is out of range.
Spanner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bone.

Bone slips a straight right by Spanner.
Spanner takes a swing at Bone's ribcage but misses.
Kay Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bone jabs Spanner right on the nose. Spanner blinks but takes it well.

Jeez, Bleeding Spanner's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Spanner throws a jab when Bone was well out of range.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bleeding Spanner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kay Bone!
A relieved looking Kay Bone thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Bleeding Spanner spoke after the fight, saying 'That was fucking bullshit!'.
