The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulk slips under a jab.
Faulk is looking to counter punch.
Zhdanov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Faulk counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Roman Zhdanov has been cut.

Zhdanov lands a big head kick that sends Faulk tumbling to the mat! Zhdanov takes a step backwards and waves Faulk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Faulk digs a good body shot into Zhdanov's ribs.
Zhdanov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zhdanov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Faulk throws out a loose jab but Zhdanov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zhdanov throws out a counter right but Faulk avoids it with no problem.
Zhdanov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Faulk counter with a right hand.
Zhdanov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zhdanov gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Faulk gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Zhdanov is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
