Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leif Leifsson (ranked 148 p4p, 450 weight class) and Joe Krutel (ranked 25 p4p, 63 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Krutel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leifsson manages to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A quick step to the side and Leifsson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Krutel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leifsson sprawling to the canvas! Leifsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Krutel finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Leifsson tries to counter by clinching up but Krutel breaks away and moves out of range.
Leifsson's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
Leifsson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Krutel.
Leifsson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
BOOM! Krutel lands a beautiful left hook that drops Leifsson. Leifsson tries to recover but Krutel is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Leifsson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Joe Krutel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
