Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Alvarez (ranked 1174 p4p, 1357 weight class) and Mustang Jack (ranked 161 p4p, 188 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jack darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Alvarez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jack - the referee stops the clock and Alvarez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jack. Alvarez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jack looks to land a left hand but Alvarez moved out of range nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alvarez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jack stacks Alvarez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jack!
