Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Semmy Cobb (ranked 1365 p4p, 1983 weight class) and LaTroy Johnson (ranked 42 p4p, 61 weight class). Cobb comes to the cage accompanied by You dropped the Bomb on me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
Cobb throws a predictable looking body shot
and Johnson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cobb thinking.
Cobb takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Semmy Cobb has been cut.
Cobb slips under a jab.
Cobb waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson.
Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cobb.
Johnson slips a jab from Cobb.
Cobb takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Cobb throws a poor cross that misses
and Johnson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cobb throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Cobb counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Johnson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cobb misses with a body shot.
Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cobb makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cobb lands with a hook. Johnson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Johnson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cobb throws a body shot but no joy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Johnson! But no joy.
Cobb throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cobb looks to land a left hand but Johnson moved out of range nicely.
Cobb is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cobb bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cobb misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cobb counters with a nice uppercut.
Cobb misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
Cobb slips a straight right by Johnson.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cobb.
Cobb chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cobb.
Johnson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Johnson ducks under a wild hook from Cobb.
Johnson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Semmy Cobb dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Semmy Cobb's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Cobb throws a body punch but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Cobb ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson throws a lazy uppercut
and Cobb counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cobb misses with an uppercut
and Johnson counters with a big right hand! Oh Cobb is in trouble here! Johnson follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). LaTroy Johnson!
A very excited looking LaTroy Johnson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Semmy Cobb was interviewed post fight and said 'I like ice cream and cookies'.
