Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chase Buchanan (ranked 2413 p4p, 2064 weight class) and Dar Jee (ranked 162 p4p, 129 weight class). Jee has chosen Everybody Knows My Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Chase Buchanan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dar Jee! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buchanan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Buchanan somewhat. Jee lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Buchanan is defended easily by Jee. Jee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Buchanan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jee to the mat! Jee manages to get full guard. Buchanan stops Jee from standing up. Jee pushes Buchanan off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jee pushes Buchanan up against the cage in a clinch. Buchanan tries to pull guard but Jee holds him up against the cage and eventually Buchanan drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chase Buchanan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buchanan is trying to pull guard but Jee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Buchanan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jee smiles and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Buchanan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Buchanan looks for a takedown but Jee sprawls well. Jee gets caught napping as Buchanan dives in and scores a takedown. Jee manages to retain guard. Buchanan stops Jee from standing up. Buchanan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jee wants to get back to his feet. Buchanan wants to take a breather but Jee is having none of it. Buchanan stops Jee from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Buchanan is thwarting Jee's attempts to control the position. Buchanan trying to control the action but Jee is working from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Buchanan controlling the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jee takes the fight into the clinch. Buchanan tries to pull guard but Jee forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Dark Knight Fight House that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Jee is looking to work some ground and pound but Buchanan has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jee with a flurry of punches that miss. Jee throwing strikes from guard but Buchanan blocks nicely. Buchanan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Buchanan has his foot on Jee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jee works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buchanan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Buchanan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jee is not content to let Buchanan control the position. Jee wants to get back to his feet.
Jee is staying active underneath Buchanan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jee scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Buchanan manages to mount him!

Buchanan wants to control the pace but Jee is squirming around nicely. Jee has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Jee somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Jee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jee wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Buchanan's closed guard. He's half up but Buchanan has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Buchanan pivots and extends the arm, Jee falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Buchanan! Well done that man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chase Buchanan! In defeat, Dar Jee stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well that was disappointing'.
