Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Kulik (ranked 2141 p4p, 1690 weight class) and Bobby Knuckles (ranked 303 p4p, 246 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vasiliy Kulik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulik throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kulik darts in and clinches Knuckles up against the cage.
Knuckles throws a punch but it's blocked by Kulik.
Kulik is trying to force a seperation but Knuckles has the dominant position.
Kulik blocking some punches.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Knuckles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Knuckles blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A left hand lands to the body for Kulik.
Knuckles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A short body shot lands from Kulik as the two fighters clinch.
Knuckles lands a right hand.
Kulik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Kulik does no damage.
Kulik tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kulik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kulik throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kulik drives through and clinches with Knuckles against the cage.
Kulik makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kulik misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kulik blocks an uppercut.
Knuckles lands a body shot in the clinch.
Kulik swings wildly with an uppercut but Knuckles uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kulik lands with a short shot to the head.
Kulik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Vasiliy Kulik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kulik closes the distance but Knuckles moves to the side
and Knuckles counters with a body kick that stops Kulik in his tracks momentarily.
Kulik throws a front kick aimed at Knuckles's knee but Knuckles avoids it well.
Knuckles tries to land a front kick but Kulik steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kulik goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Knuckles looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Knuckles changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kulik swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Knuckles moves out of range as Kulik strikes.
Kulik looks to land a body kick but Knuckles moved away.
No joy there for Kulik, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kulik pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Knuckles back to the cage. Kulik follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knuckles lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Knuckles counters with a thumping low kick.
Knuckles moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kulik tries to clinch but Knuckles moves away
and Knuckles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Knuckles avoids the head kick by Kulik.
Kulik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knuckles.
Kulik falls off balance throwing a combination
and Knuckles counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Knuckles counters with a nice body shot.
Kulik wants to clinch up but Knuckles keeps it at a distance.
A left lands for Knuckles.
Kulik throws the left hand but Knuckles avoids the punch easily.
Knuckles was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Kulik tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kulik throws a low kick but Knuckles moves out of range easily.
Kulik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crunch! Knuckles slams his shin into Kulik's torso.

Kulik is looking to break free of the clinch but Knuckles has double underhooks.

Knuckles misses with the head strike.
Knuckles lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knuckles has Kulik pressed against the cage.
Knuckles stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Knuckles fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kulik tries to throw a body punch but Knuckles avoids it by throwing Kulik back against the cage.

Kulik tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Knuckles's elbow.

Knuckles keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kulik's efforts to push away.
Kulik's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Knuckles lands a hook that snaps the head of Kulik backwards.

Kulik blocks a punch to the side of the head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bobby Knuckles will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bobby Knuckles seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Knuckles lands a big right hand that sends Kulik crashing to the mat! Knuckles stays standing though and waves Kulik back to his feet!

Kulik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Knuckles appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Oh Kulik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kulik throws a nice looking combination but Knuckles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Knuckles counters with a crisp right that sends Kulik to the canvas! Knuckles follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Our winner, Bobby Knuckles, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
