Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darsin Bleak (ranked 230 p4p, 1122 weight class) and Francois Oosthuizen (ranked 32 p4p, 152 weight class). Francois Oosthuizen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oosthuizen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Bleak throws out a loose jab but Oosthuizen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oosthuizen wants to counter the offense by Bleak and move into the clinch position.

Oosthuizen 's coach down at Bear Jew's social club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Oosthuizen 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bleak's jab looks to have found its range, popping Oosthuizen under the eye.
Bleak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bleak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oosthuizen 's waist but Oosthuizen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bleak off to one side.
