Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phuc Dat Bich (ranked 122 p4p, 224 weight class) and Ricky Thompson (ranked 23 p4p, 32 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricky Thompson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phuc Dat Bich!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bich moves into range and clinches up with Thompson.
Bich pulls guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Thompson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Bich looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Thompson is aware though and is defending well.
Bich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thompson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Thompson chips away with some ground and pound.
Bich trying to keep a closed guard but Thompson is proving a slippery customer.
Thompson cracks Bich with a solid left hand.
Thompson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bich definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thompson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Thompson throws a big elbow that misses.
Bich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thompson connects with a couple of short punches.
Thompson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thompson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thompson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Thompson connects with a couple of short punches.
Thompson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bich has momentary wrist control but Thompson slips an elbow through the middle.
Thompson scoring with punches to the head and body.
Bich is rocked!
Bich working for submissions but it's allowed Thompson to get to half guard.
Thompson scores with a big shot! Bich's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bich! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Thompson! Ricky Thompson retains his heavyweight title!
