Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eliott Leighton (ranked 2811 p4p, 4540 weight class) and Filip Valcak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leighton comes to the cage accompanied by Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood. Valcak has chosen Biggie Smalls - Hypnotize as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Leighton is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Valcak to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Valcak shrugs it off.

Valcak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Valcak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Leighton explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Filip Valcak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valcak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leighton, pushing him back against the cage.
Leighton is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Valcak can't fight it off and eventually Leighton manages to take the fight to the floor. Valcak looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Valcak is looking to stand back up but Leighton counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Valcak.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leighton has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Valcak defend it? Leighton steps over the head and cranks it - Valcak is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Leighton!
