Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Reverend Jim Ignatowski (ranked 879 p4p, 480 weight class) and Tommy Gavin (ranked 98 p4p, 58 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Reverend Jim Ignatowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Gavin!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignatowski tries to land a front kick but Gavin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gavin! But no joy.
Ignatowski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Ignatowski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ignatowski tries to clinch
and Gavin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ignatowski throws out a loose jab but Gavin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ignatowski thows a leg kick but Gavin checks it
and Gavin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ignatowski is rocked!
Gavin checks a low kick from Ignatowski.
Ignatowski moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromGavin.
Ignatowski misses with the body kick
and Gavin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oh Ignatowski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ignatowski throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ignatowski scores with the left hand. Gavin knows he should have avoided that one.
An inside leg kick lands from Ignatowski.
Ignatowski seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ignatowski tries to close the distance and clinch but Gavin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Gavin on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gavin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
An inside leg kick lands from Ignatowski.
Gavin drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Ignatowski right on the button. Ignatowski goes down! Gavin follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Gavin gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Gavin!
