Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse-James Hopson (ranked 5433 p4p, 4536 weight class) and Hamzah Barnaby (ranked 253 p4p, 227 weight class). Hopson comes to the cage accompanied by Home among the gumtrees.. Hamzah Barnaby will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Barnaby.
Hopson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hopson there as he acknowledges the shot.

A looping hook to the body misses from Barnaby. Hopson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hopson feinted with a counter takedown.
Barnaby throws a looping overhand right but Hopson ducks down to avoid it.

Hopson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Barnaby was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Barnaby really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hopson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hopson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Barnaby can't hide his disappointment, as Hopson celebrates the victory.
