Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor The Barbarian (ranked 21 p4p, 133 weight class) and Kay Bone (ranked 5 p4p, 22 weight class). Conor The Barbarian has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor The Barbarian! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kay Bone! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Barbarian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bone. The Barbarian throws a hook but Bone blocks it. A nice side step and Bone releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bone avoids the body shot from The Barbarian.
The Barbarian moves out of range as Bone strikes. The Barbarian swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bone throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bone throws a jab but it's blocked by The Barbarian. Bone lands with a hook. The Barbarian tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Conor The Barbarian has been cut. The Barbarian keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bone. Bone throws an off balance right hand
and The Barbarian cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Kay Bone has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The Barbarian lands with a thumping leg kick.
The Barbarian ducks under a wild hook from Bone. The Barbarian quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Bone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Barbarian. Bone looks to land a left hand but The Barbarian moved out of range nicely. The Barbarian stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bone misses with a right hand and The Barbarian counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bone! The Barbarian lets Bone back up to his feet, looking for a finish! The Barbarian looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A big left from Bone misses. The Barbarian ducks under a wild hook from Bone. Bone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. The Barbarian sees it coming and avoids it easily. The Barbarian appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. The Barbarian misses with a leg kick and Bone counters with a stiff right hand. The Barbarian throws out a loose jab but Bone uses good head movement to avoid it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Barbarian avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bone looks to land a combination but The Barbarian avoids it well. A telegraphed right hand from Bone misses the target. Bone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bone looks to throw the jab but The Barbarian is out of range. Bone swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The Barbarian is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Barbarian. An attempted straight right counter from The Barbarian misses the target. Bone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The Barbarian takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice uppercut lands for The Barbarian. That snapped Bone's head back.
The Barbarian throws a leg kick letting Bone counter with a right hand. Bone tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A slapping body kick lands there for The Barbarian. Bone drops his hands momentarily and The Barbarian takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bone walks straight into a right hand from The Barbarian - that's dropped him! The Barbarian jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bone from any more punishment! Bone complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Conor The Barbarian! Conor The Barbarian retains his heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Conor The Barbarian thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
