PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Devils Outlaw (ranked 1007 p4p, 1018 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 129 p4p, 131 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Outlaw might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Moonshine Bandits For The Outlawz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Devils Outlaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shaka Zulu!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw moves away from the strike by Zulu.
Outlaw lands a nice shot to the body.
Zulu dives in and grabs Outlaw's left leg, looking for a takedown. Outlaw pushes down on Zulu's head and hops out.
As Zulu looks to move away, Outlaw throws a big counter combo but Zulu just gets out of the way.
Outlaw with a jab.
It looks like Shaka Zulu has been cut.
Outlaw moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Outlaw fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zulu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Outlaw throws a low kick, looking for Zulu's leg but Zulu calmly moves out of range.
Zulu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Zulu 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Zulu gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Outlaw gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Zulu is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Devils Outlaw!
The Devils Outlaw gave a mention to Voodoo Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
