Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marc Read (ranked 1830 p4p, 6432 weight class) and Chakrii Weecharangsan (ranked 231 p4p, 619 weight class). Weecharangsan has chosen Sarama as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Read throws a shot to the body.
Read looks to score with a jab to the body but Weecharangsan is just out of range.
Read connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Weecharangsan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Read sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weecharangsan somewhat.
Read catches Weecharangsan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Weecharangsan shoots in looking for a takedown but Read manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Weecharangsan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
