Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Nut Shot (ranked 1850 p4p, 1817 weight class) and Patrick Mahomes (ranked 239 p4p, 234 weight class). Patrick Mahomes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick Mahomes!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nut Shot moves out of range as Mahomes throws a body kick.
Mahomes throws a body shot but no joy.
Nut Shot shoots for a takedown but Mahomes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mahomes looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nut Shot throws a leg kick but Mahomes moved away.
Nut Shot slips a jab and a cross from Mahomes.
Mahomes lands with a nice body punch.
Nut Shot throws a low kick but Mahomes avoids it.

Mahomes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mahomes wants to stand but Nut Shot is controlling the position.
Nut Shot is looking to work some ground and pound but Mahomes has wrist control.
Nut Shot looking to sit in guard and control but Mahomes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Mahomes told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nut Shot is looking to cinch up a triangle. Mahomes throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nut Shot's body to avoid the submission. Nut Shot has instead reached around Mahomes's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nut Shot arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Maximus Nut Shot!
A relieved looking Maximus Nut Shot thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
