The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And Thai tries to counter it with a takedown but Veidt pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Veidt misses with a hook. Thai ducked under it nicely.
Veidt throws the left hand but Thai avoids the punch easily.
Veidt thows a left - swing and a miss!
Veidt misses with a right hand
and Thai counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Veidt is trying to get back to full guard.
Veidt is working hard here to advance position.
Thai is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Veidt is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
