Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juha Niska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Gustafsson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Niska.
Gustafsson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Niska defends it well.
A big left from Niska misses.
Gustafsson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Niska scores with a jab. Gustafsson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Simon Gustafsson has been cut.
Niska missing with a left hand there. Gustafsson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And Gustafsson tries to counter it with a takedown but Niska pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Niska tries to work over Gustafsson's front leg with a kick but Gustafsson checks it.
Niska misses with a looping left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gustafsson.
Gustafsson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Niska finds it's way round the side to connect with Gustafsson's head.

Niska misses the shot to the body.
Gustafsson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gustafsson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Niska defending against the ground and pound.
Gustafsson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gustafsson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Niska has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gustafsson but great work by Niska.

Gustafsson tries to bench press Niska off him but Niska keeps the position.

Gustafsson is still trying to improve position.
Gustafsson tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Gustafsson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gustafsson is looking to regain half guard here but Niska keeps moving and retains side control.
Gustafsson striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Gustafsson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Niska off and has taken his back!

Niska is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Gustafsson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Gustafsson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Niska! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gustafsson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
