Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valerio Bartoli (ranked 420 p4p, 291 weight class) and James Cole (ranked 56 p4p, 36 weight class). Bartoli's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Modulate - Bass Alert. Valerio Bartoli is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Valerio Bartoli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, James Cole!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartoli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bartoli fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cole is out of range.
Cole looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bartoli lands with an overhand left.
Bartoli throws a jab but it's blocked by Cole.
Cole swings widly with a right hand
and Bartoli counters with a stiff right hand.
Cole lands a lovely overhand right.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bartoli throws a lazy right hand but Cole sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Valerio Bartoli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cole paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cole might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bartoli lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cole has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cole and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cole takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bartoli feints a jab promting Cole to slip. Bartoli then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cole slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
