Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 210 p4p, 139 weight class) and Nig Nig (ranked 35 p4p, 22 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomomi Tsuruta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nig Nig!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nig fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tsuruta checks it well.
Nig moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Tsuruta misses with a wild body shot.

Tsuruta is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Nig's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Nig does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It looked like Tsuruta wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Nig Nig showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Nig has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Nig drops Tsuruta with a huge uppercut! Tsuruta drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Nig is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
