Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Ubaldo Cortez (ranked 3644 p4p, 1723 weight class) and Scar Ambe (ranked 423 p4p, 234 weight class). Ambe has chosen Gunna - The World is Yours as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ubaldo Cortez!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scar Ambe!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambe tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Cortez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ambe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cortez - the referee stops the clock and Ambe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cortez. Ambe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've been informed that Ambe has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ambe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Cortez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Ambe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
