Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Orlov (ranked 1144 p4p, 1090 weight class) and Walter Jackson (ranked 150 p4p, 140 weight class). Walter Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Walter Jackson !
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orlov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson walks into a jab.
Orlov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Orlov looks to land a combination but Jackson avoids it well.
Orlov forces Jackson back against the cage and clinches.
Jackson has Orlov pressed against the cage, preventing Orlov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jackson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Orlov is trying to break free.
Orlov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Orlov lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jackson .
Orlov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jackson takes a swing at Orlov's ribcage but misses.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromOrlov.
Orlov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Orlov moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Jackson goes down! Can Orlov finish him!?
Jackson is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Orlov tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Orlov finish him?
Orlov trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.

Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Orlov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.

Orlov controlling the pace.
Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson .
Jackson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Orlov stacks Jackson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Orlov!
Jackson is looking to reverse the position.

Jackson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Orlov makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Orlov.
Orlov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Orlov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Orlov's legs - danger averted.
Orlov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Orlov has an active guard here but Jackson has managed to pass into half guard.
Still in half guard, Jackson seems content to control.
Orlov gets full guard.
Orlov looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Orlov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Orlov working for a triangle but Jackson defends it easily.
Orlov has his feet on Jackson 's thighs here. He's pushed Jackson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jackson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
