Knox comes to the cage accompanied by Click Click Boom | Saliva. McCockiner has chosen Farewell to Cheyenn as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 2, fighting out of London, Athos Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Barry McCockiner!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Barry McCockiner has been cut.
Knox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McCockiner to score with a decent uppercut.
Knox throws a lazy right hand but McCockiner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McCockiner works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Knox clobbers McCockiner with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Knox catches McCockiner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Knox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McCockiner looks to land a right hand but Knox moved out of range.
McCockiner takes a shot right to the bread basket.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knox pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McCockiner moves out of range as Knox strikes.
Knox with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Knox misses with a right hand
and McCockiner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Knox ducks right into an uppercut from McCockiner.
Knox dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

McCockiner throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Knox sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Knox moves into range and clinches up with McCockiner.
McCockiner breaks the clinch.
McCockiner throws a predictable looking body shot
and Knox counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Knox works the jab nicely.
Knox slips under a jab from McCockiner.
McCockiner slips a jab from Knox.
McCockiner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knox.
McCockiner misses the shot to the body.
Knox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCockiner throws a body punch but Knox moves out of range.
Knox walks into a jab.
Knox misses with a left hand
and McCockiner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCockiner cracks Knox with an open hand slap.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCockiner is looking to land body kicks.
Knox scores with a sloppy right hand. McCockiner should have avoided that one.
Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but McCockiner is just out of range.
McCockiner misses with a body shot.
Knox was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
McCockiner swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A slow jab from Knox misses its intended target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Knox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McCockiner looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McCockiner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Knox has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Knox and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Knox seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
McCockiner slips under a jab.
Knox moves forwards but McCockiner connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Knox displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McCockiner throws out the jab.
Knox throws a looping overhand right but McCockiner ducks down to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McCockiner's corner calls for a 1-2. McCockiner obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Knox throws a body shot but no joy.

It seemed like McCockiner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
McCockiner swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Knox avoids the head kick by McCockiner.
McCockiner takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That has opened up Barry McCockiner's cut even more.
Knox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knox swings for the body but McCockiner moves out of range.
McCockiner scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McCockiner goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Athos Knox has been cut.
Knox waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McCockiner.
Knox lands a jab to the nose.
and Knox counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts McCockiner! He's just covering up as Knox starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
