The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn misses with a straight left.
Gunn throws a jab but it's blocked by Dreth.

Gunn moves into range and clinches up with Dreth.
Dreth blocks a body shot from Gunn.
Gunn misses with a short punch on the inside.
Gunn working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Dreth breaks the clinch.
Dreth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dreth throws a low kick but Gunn moves out of range easily.
A swing and a miss from Dreth.

Dreth darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gunn is trying to control but Dreth manages to pass to mount!
Gunn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Dreth wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Gunn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dreth avoids the attempt from Gunn to control.

Dreth is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gunn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gunn!

Gunn passes Dreth's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dreth gets back to full guard.
Gunn wants to control from the top but Dreth keeps moving.

Gunn content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dreth has locked up a guillotine! Dreth's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gunn is holding on here and Dreth must be using up a lot of energy. Gunn has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dreth gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
