Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Youssef Alaoui!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Barkley!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley scores with a hook to the body. Alaoui takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Alaoui closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Barkley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Alaoui scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Barkley finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
As Barkley backs away, Alaoui returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
We've been informed that Barkley has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Alaoui clobbers Barkley with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Alaoui swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Alaoui takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alaoui fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barkley on the side of the head.
Alaoui misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Barkley counters with a straight right hand.
Alaoui misses with a looping left.
Barkley steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Alaoui.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barkley was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Alaoui jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Barkley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A head kick by Alaoui misses
and Barkley counters with a huge right that knocks Alaoui out cold! Barkley is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
