Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abraham Durden!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden thows a left - swing and a miss!
Durden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Durden misses the shot to the body.
Connor on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Durden walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Connor checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Connor was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Connor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Durden scores with a leg kick.
Durden connects with a solid leg kick.
Connor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Durden.
Connor avoids the body shot from Durden.
A low kick lands for Durden.
Durden lands with a good body shot.
Durden lands a lovely overhand right.
Durden misses with a body shot.
Connor digs a good body shot into Durden's ribs.
Connor connects with the punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Connor swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Connor lands a nice shot that snaps Durden's head back.
Abraham Durden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Connor takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Connor. Durden does a little dance to reset his feet.
Durden walks into a straight right hand from Connor.
Durden is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Connor rather than just go for the knockout.
Durden gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Durden jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Durden swings for the body but Connor moves out of range.
Connor walks into a straight right hand from Durden.
Connor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Durden's head.

Durden is rocked!

Connor clinches up with Durden and pushes him back against the cage.
Durden is still on wobbly legs! Can Connor finish him?

Durden breaks the clinch.
Durden seems to have recovered his senses.
Durden lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Durden throws a body shot but no joy.
BOOM! Connor lands a beautiful left hook that drops Durden. Durden tries to recover but Connor is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Durden lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Connor!
