The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payette connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nolan 's hands.
Payette lands a jab-cross combination.
Nolan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Payette has hold of Nolan 's hands but Nolan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nolan lands a nice short elbow.
Nolan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Payette defend it? Nolan steps over the head and cranks it - Payette is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nolan !
